The Office Oasis
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. Piles of stuff everywhere. The floor. The desktop. The hutch. In boxes. The detritus of life builds up fast, and it takes time and energy to clean up. And when you have small children, like this client did, you just don’t have time to do it all yourself.
Luckily, you are not alone, and you do not have to do it all yourself. This office is a great example of a medium sized project. Not a massive room, but plenty of things to sort through and find homes for.
This client wanted me to come in and organize in bits and pieces. I went out to the job site three times in order complete the space.
The first time to do the initial survey and help the client prioritize what to keep and what to keep, donate, and trash.
The second time to oversee the installation of the customized shelving and see if there were any adjustments that needed to be made to the design.
And the final time for finishing touches. Getting items into bins, setting up the printer, and setting up dividers in the smaller drawers.
